Last week saw the culmination of a season of hard work for our football team. William Ransom played Samuel Lucas in the final of the Wix Cup. This was a very challenging match for William Ransom, coming up against an unbeaten side and a special performance was required. A special performance was exactly what the team delivered. They have trained hard all season and developed their style of play throughout all matches. They took everything they have worked on in training and gave 100% effort in this match. They were able to score three brilliantly worked goals and keep a clean sheet. We are all very proud of the team and their efforts and we look forward to seeing how they manage moving through to the County finals stage of the Wix Cup.
We were also pleased to find out that all our efforts in the league have paid off and we will be going through to a play-off for the Hitchin league championship also.
