William Ransom takes to the Skies!

Many of you might have seen the spitfire aeroplane which has been used to say thank you to the NHS, flying over the skies of North Herts. It is a wonderful accolade to the NHS.

Last summer they started adding names of nominated NHS heroes in return for a donation to the NHS Charity projects. They have over 6500 names and counting!

I am delighted to say that I have just heard that William Ransom School is one of the names that has been added to the plane.

This is a wonderful way to celebrate the work done by all staff and pupils during lockdown and I am extremely grateful to Robin Evans for bringing this to my attention!

The plane lives at Duxford and can be seen at airshows there, and sometimes it comes to Shuttleworth, which is a little nearer home!

Just another way to show that we are all flying high!
