William Ransom footballers visit Hitchin Town FC

On Saturday 25th April fourteen boys from the football team went to watch Hitchin Town FC play against Hereford. This was part of a community package offered to schools by the club and it was an enjoyable experience for everyone who attended.

The boys watched the first half and then had a short match at the side of the pitch at half time. They were given a snack, watched the second half and then got to shake hands with all the players as they came off the pitch. It was a 10-0 victory for Hitchin so it was great for the boys to see so many goals being scored.

We would like to say a big thank you to Callum from Hitchin Town who stayed with us for the whole game and to Mark Burke for making this experience available for schools.
