We would like to thank everyone who joined us at the treasure hunt yesterday. I think it’s fair to say that everyone had a really good time, and once again we were very lucky with the weather.
Thanks to your generosity, we managed to raise just shy of £425. Such a fantastic amount to raise for the school so early on in the academic year. A special thank you to Mrs Faulkner for writing the quiz this year, and to everyone who baked a cake.
Our next big event will be the Winter Wonderland, which is on the 22nd of November. In the meantime, you’re invited to join us at the AGM on Monday the 29th of September. It starts at 8pm and should last no more than half an hour. This is your chance to get to know more about what we do and to share your ideas.
If you’re thinking about joining the SPA committee, then forms need to be handed in no later than Friday the 26th. For those of you who want to help but don’t think they can make it to the AGM, it’s not too late to join the volunteer bank (please see Debs Hughes for more details).
