The William Ransom Orbit

A Special Note from Mrs Driver:

How time flies when you are having fun and this term has absolutely flown by!

We started with a wonderful festival of languages back in September. Thank you to everyone who came in to help. We have had Harvest Festival, Children in Need, raising money for Compassion and Shoeboxes for Smile International. All of these activities help us to get involved with things that are happening in and around Hitchin, Great Britain and the World!

Lots of you have been out on Class Trips. I was lucky enough to go to The National Portrait Gallery with Class 4/5 where we studied some great paintings of the Tudors and we went to see The Barmy Britains at the theatre. I enjoy going out on trips with different classes and I am sorry when I miss them, especially the 5/6 trip to Cadbury World!

We are now really busy putting our Christmas show together, ‘A Christmas Full of Eastern Promise’. I have seen some fantastic class pieces being rehearsed and the People of Kasbah are holding the whole show together by helping the Sultan choose his favourite entertainment. By the time we reach the last day of term we will all be ready for a holiday!

I hope you all have a lovely Christmas break and that you get everything you deserve for Christmas!
