The William Ransom Orbit

Every week is different in the world of William Ransom! There is always so much going on. This term alone there have been numerous trips to some very exciting places! Maple’s trip to the Botanic Gardens sounded fascinating as did Beech’s trip to The Polar Museum in Cambridge. The older pupils visited The Priory School to see their dress rehearsal of Jesus Christ Superstar which was great and showed us all what can be achieved by pupils at Secondary School. They also made the annual pilgrimage to see The Lion King. I never get tired of seeing this show and this year we had the added bonus of being the millionth education group visitor to the show in London so we were treated in an extra special way!

Now the weather is warming up we are looking forward to all the exciting things the summer term brings: We have the Y6 residential trip to North Wales, Sports Day and the Key Stage 2 summer musical. Have you heard what we are doing yet? I can now reveal we are presenting Madagascar – A Musical Adventure Jr. Based on the smash DreamWorks animated motion picture, Madagascar – A Musical Adventure JR. follows all of your favourite crack-a- lackin’ friends as they escape from their home in New York’s Central Park Zoo and find themselves on an unexpected journey to the madcap world of King Julien’s Madagascar. This is open to all Key Stage 2 pupils and we are all excited to see how this show comes together!

I hope everyone has a lovely Easter break and returns refreshed on 18th April for the excitement of the summer term.
