This week the children brought their teddy bears into school as we started our work on toys. The children wrote about their bears and painted pictures of them. We heard stories about bears such as Red Ted went to the beach, The Bear Hunt, Where’s my teddy? and a non fiction book called Looking at Teddy Bears.
Even our maths work involved comparing groups of teddy bears and saying if there were more, fewer or the same.
Next week we have a visit from Kate who works at Stevenage Museum. She will be bringing in some old toys for us to look at and talk about.
