Dear Parents,
It’s 3 weeks until the Summer Fete, and we’d like to thank you for all your generous donations and offers of support so far. Please do keep them coming.
We are currently looking for the following in particular:
– Unwanted swimming woggles
– Go Karts or radio controlled cars that you can lend us on the day
– Raffle donations
– Bottles for the bottle tombola
In addition, we always welcome any new or second hand clothes, toys etc.
For all you Star Wars fans out there, you’re in for a real treat. There will be lots of Star Wars related activities to take part in including a ‘Jedi Training Academy’ and a ‘Fancy Dress Parade’, which will be open to both children and parents. And you never know which Star Wars characters may drop in for a visit throughout the day.
For those who aren’t fans of star wars, don’t despair because there will be all the usual festivities that you’ve come to expect from our Summer Fete. There will even be a visit from Angelina Ballerina. We’ve booked the weather so it’s going to be a fantastic day and we hope you will spread the word and invite people along.
That being said, there is no way that the fete will be able to take place without your help. We need people to volunteer to help out on a stall, and this year you can do so online via PTA Social. Simply go to https://service.ptasocial.com/auth/login. We would appreciate if you could sign up as soon as possible in order to avoid any last minute panic! If you’re having any problems with PTA social then please speak to a member of the SPA or to the school office.
