Dear Parents
We are excited to announce that we are introducing a great new way for our parents and teachers to communicate about fundraising and social events at our school. PTAsocial is a private social network and website for our school community. It allows you to stay up to speed with the latest news, and can be viewed from your smartphone, tablet or home computer.
It’s also a simple way to stay in touch with other parents, and plan events. We’re making it easy for you to RSVP to PTA events, or offer to help just a little, and make a big difference together. You can get involved as much or as little as you want, it’s up to you — but you’re invited!
We will be using PTAsocial in order to co-ordinate the rota for our major fundraiser Winter Wonderland on 22nd November 2014.
Please follow the steps below to get involved!
Step 1
In order to learn about the website and its functionality, you can watch a short video at www.ptasocial.com/how-it-works-2. If you have any questions you can find out more information at ptasocial.freshdesk.com/support/home.
Step 2
Once you're ready, you can register at service.ptasocial.com/register/williamransom OR click on the PTAsocial button on the homepage of the school website OR ask a committee member to invite you. Please note that all requests to join must first be approved by our admin.
Step 3
Click on Winter Wonderland and either select the stall you are available to help with or volunteer to help with tasks. You will then receive an email confirming your selection.
We look forward to you joining our PTAsocial community and helping us to raise even more funds for our school.
