The value for the month of December is peace.
For Key Stage One this is defined as 'getting on with others and knowing how to resolve arguments'.
For Key Stage Two the definition is 'freedom from disturbance, freedom from war'.
Because 1st December fell on a Tuesday the value was introduced in Key Stage Assemblies which worked very well.
Gold leaves will be given out when an adult sees a child demonstrating this value. No peace leaves have been given out yet!
