Tolerance

Our value for the month of November was Tolerance.  At Key Stage One this was defined as 'being kind to each other and accepting that all people are different'.  The definition for Key Stage Two was 'ability, willingness or capacity to tolerate something'.  Yellow leaves were given out for this value.

Peace

The value for the month of December is peace.   For Key Stage One this is defined as 'getting on with others and knowing how to resolve arguments'.  For Key Stage Two the definition is 'freedom from disturbance, freedom from war'.  Because 1st December fell on a Tuesday the value was introduced in Key Stage Assemblies which worked very well.  … Read more
