Pine & Cedar – Year 2

We had a fantastic time creating decorations to put up around school. Thank you to our wonderful helpers who gave up their time to come and join us.

In Art recently we have been exploring the work of Heather Galler. We have been busy creating various pictures and paintings. This week we worked in groups to plan and create animal paintings in the style of Heather Galler.

We have been working hard on our football skills this half term and this week we tried putting them into action. We had our first try at some small sided matches. We have a bit of work to do on our positioning but we had lots of fun and we will try again next week.

We had lots of fun making, painting and then destroying our castles!

We had a lot of fun last week during our activity day. We learnt how to aim and shoot a crossbow at a target and got to climb to the top of an inflatable slide. We also enjoyed playing capture the flag, where we were able to practise our team work and strategy. This was … Read more
