We had lots of fun at Butterfly World and got to find out all about butterflies and ants. There was lots to do at Butterfly World; we walked in the flower meadows, explored the exciting gardens, played in the music meadow and saw lots of butterflies.

Class 2 performed an interesting Assembly about William Shakespeare. They had learnt their lines well and spoke beautifully.
All the year 2 children walked up to Hitchin Girls School for a fun afternoon taking part in lots of sports activities. We were put into groups and the sports leaders told us what to do for each game. We had lots of fun!!

In D&T we have been making our own coats for our teddy bears. We have developed our designs over a number of lessons until we were happy with them. We practised using a paper template before starting to use our fabric, just in case we made any mistakes. We still have a bit of work … Read more
After discovering some of our photos, from earlier in the year, that we thought had been lost, we thought it would be nice to share them with you. It also gives us a chance to remember some of the fun things we have done.
We have been looking at the work of L.S Lowry one of Britain's most famous artisits. After studying his work and having lots of practise, we thought we would try to make our own display. This was very difficult and took a long time but we are very happy with our work.
For our Science work on Living Things we planted an avocado seed in a small pot of soil. As it started to grow we put it into a bigger pot. It is over a metre tall and still growing! If anyone knows about avocado plants, please tell class 2.
