Reception 2.7.21

The children finally got to harvest the potatoes we have been growing. It was great fun foraging for them! Now, I wonder how we are going to eat them? Lots of fun was had in the space role play this week and children enjoyed creating aliens in a range of different media.

Fruit Tasting for Design Technology

Cedar class enjoyed some fruit tasting with Mrs Mills as part of their work on healthy breakfasts. They tried a range of fruit including pineapple, raspberry, passion fruit, melon and cherry. The children are going to design and make their own healthy breakfast consisting of granola, yoghurt and fruit. Yummy!

Rising Stars

This morning Cedar class took part in some fun activities organised by Rising Stars. They had a go on a pirate bouncy castle, team building games, nerf gun games and archery. The children really enjoyed themselves and it was lovely to see them having some fun!
