Festival of Languages Day

Class 1/2 fastenend their seat belts and were whisked away to Turkey, Italy, Mumbai, Punjab and South America. They ate lots of food and danced in every country. It was a day like no other. Thank you to all our parent helpers who have made this day a special event of the school calendar.

Money maths!

Leaf Printing

Class 1R have been learning how to print using leaves. They had to find the ‘bumpy’ side of the leaf and then paint it using Autumn colours. They smoothed the leaf onto black sugar paper, taking care not to smudge the paint. The end results look great!

Class Cards Moving Along Well

Class 3/4’s Design Technology project is moving cards. The class are currently learning how to make different mechanisms. So far we have made clown face sliders. Wartime Biscuits

Class 5/6A enjoyed making carrot biscuits in preparation for our trip to Duxford. It has been an afternoon of baking to add a little authenticity to our lunches at the War Museum. Let’s hope they taste as good as they look!
