Wash your Hands!!

Hazel class made some fantastic posters this week on the importance of washing our hands. We all learnt how to wash our hands properly with a little help from the Baby Shark song!

World Book Day Celebration

Hazel class had a wonderful day yesterday celebrating World Book Day. The children all looked fabulous! We spent the day talking about our characters and our favourite books and even transformed some potatoes into the characters we had come dressed as.

Holly Potatoes!

Everyone looked amazing dressed as their favourite book characters today. It was also great to hear about the wide range of books everyone enjoys. This afternoon, all the children made a potato into their book character! See if you can guess who they are…

Puppets

Year One have been busy designing their own puppets. Today, Holly class completed theirs using sticks, paper, card, wool, fabric and lots of imagination. It was great to see them putting characters to their puppets too.

Columbus Fun in Holly Class

Properties of materials

In our science lesson today Holly class were learning about the different properties of materials. We had lots of fun sorting the objects into different groups – flexible or rigid, smooth or rough.

The Snowman

Holly class enjoyed performing their version of The Snowman for the Christmas performance. Everyone was fantastic and looked great! Let’s hope we get some snow this winter, so we can build some snowmen of our own.
