To kick start our activities for World Book Day we were treated to a West End performance of Jungle Bungle! We were all taken on an interactive journey of the imagination; travelling through four classic children’s books:
Where the Wild Things are by Maurice Sendak
How to Heal a broken Wing by Bob Graham
Danny the Champion of the World by Roald Dahl
The Huge Bag of Worries by Virginia Ironside
Claire and Oliver were the two main characters and they helped us all to understand the importance of friendship and the important part reading can play in our lives.
It was a wonderful show and certainly gave us all lots to think about!
