Zip Wire
I hope you managed to keep up to date with our escapades over half term! Mrs Massey and I had an amazing time flying the Zip Wire in North Wales! It was an exhilarating experience and has certainly taught me to face my fears and to meet my challenges head on! Thank you to all of you who have sponsored us so far. The Justgiving page will remain open until 30th November if anyone else would still like to sponsor us. We hope to have a defibrillator in place very soon!
Winter Wonderland
Don’t forget The Winter Wonderland is coming up very soon! On Saturday 17th November Santa will be flying in and children can ride the Santa Express Train to Storytime with Santa. There will be lots of games for the children and stalls for parents to finish off those last bits of Christmas shopping!! The rota is up in the school entrance so please come along and help out, even if it is only for a short while. I look forward to seeing you there!
Mrs Barrett
It is with regret that I have to tell you that for personal reasons Mrs Barrett will not be returning to William Ransom following half term. I am in the process of securing a replacement and will let you know when I have some news.
School dinner payment
We have been informed by Herts Catering Ltd. that we can no longer offer dinners to children when their school dinner bill has not been paid; we have no facility to cover the balance for you. Therefore once the debt reaches £20 your child’s dinners will be cancelled. If you have concerns about this please come and see us in the school office.
Letters
Please remember to send all letters, reply slips and paperwork into school via your child. There is no need to hand deliver to the office!
Mid-day supervisory assistants
We are still looking to recruit mid-day supervisory assistants for lunchtimes. This is an ideal role for parents or grandparents. We just want someone who is happy to spend time with children over the lunch break. It does not have to be everyday but it is necessary to make a regular commitment. Please come and talk to us in the office if you or someone you know is interested.
