The girls team were away at Samuel Lucas for their Wix Cup final, in some awful conditions, yesterday.
The girls worked extremely hard and got very muddy. They showed excellent determination and some really good passages of play.
The game started poorly as we went one nil down very early on. For the rest of the match however, it was a very close game. Unfortunately the girls were playing against an extremely strong team and were unable to get the goals they needed, eventually losing 3-1.
We are all extremely proud of these girls! Many of them had not played before this season so their progress has been amazing.
We have another chance at a cup final next week, with our A-team playing at home, after school on Friday. Please come and support the team!
