With only six days left until the County Dance Festival, the girls have had their final rehearsal, in dress, at Hitchin Girls’ School, where they were also able to watch the final practice of the Girls’ School dance.
The girls have worked really hard on their dance and have been rewarded for their efforts by being asked to close the whole festival; a position in the past which has been left for County Dance group and other high quality secondary schools. They feel very honoured!
The girls have thoroughly enjoyed working with Mrs Maydom and the sixth form students and are now looking forward to a very long day at the Alban Arena on 13th March. We also have the pupils from Class 5/6M and 5/6D coming along to the matinee to watch their peers perform. I’m sure they will cheer very loudly!
