As part of our Festival of Languages, we travelled all around the world starting in Greece. We learnt about Greek traditions, the National flag, food and clothes people wear. We learnt the Greek alphabet, it only has 24 letters! We then had the chance to try some Feta, Spinach Pie and Pitta! The children had an amazing morning.
Then we learnt all about Egypt including money, mummies and masks. We went on to visit Germany where everyone made a flag and then on to Italy and France. The children learnt lots of ways to say Hello. Wellkommen, Buongiorno and Bonjour tout le monde! A huge thank you to everyone who came into school to help today. It was amazing!
