We came into this fixture full of confidence after last week’s great comeback.
A-Team
The match started with us dominating possession with the occasional counter attack from Samuel Lucas until Noah played a good pass to Calum who smashed it into the centre of the goal past the keeper. However we kept attacking and after a low corner from Finley, their defender hit the ball into the back of their net scoring an own goal.
HALF TIME SCORE: Samuel Lucas 0-2 William Ransom
Even though we were two nil up we didn’t relax. We worked hard and got our reward as a long throw from Finley came into the box and it eventually found its way to me right in front of goal for it to be hammered straight past the keeper on the half volley. As the light faded, we secured our fourth and final goal as Finley lifted the ball towards the head of Calum for him to guide it towards the goal.
We have a big match away at Our Lady next Thursday in the semi-final of the Wix Cup, hopefully we can continue our great form.
