For the past two weeks, we have been doing The Big Write. The big write is all about different styles of writing. For example , last week we wrote to ‘Our Robot Family’. Here we wrote a creative piece of writing about what we thought was inside the factory. We had to imagine what we would smell, see, touch and things we could hear.
Another letter we wrote was a persuasive letter. We were trying to convince parents to send their children to come to our school. We used a different type of writing, using descriptive words such as ‘amazing’ and ‘fantastic’.
I really enjoyed learning about the big write and I hope to do more in the future.
