Class 3/4 Bounces for Compassion

Today Class 3/4 undertook their sponsored 'bounce' to raise money for Compassion UK and our sponsored pupil, Joel. Due to the amazing amount the class managed to raise, we have also decided to donate money to the Nepal Earthquake Appeal.

On Wednesday 29th April 2015 we did the ‘Bounce for Compassion’. It was a simple fundraising activity where we got a basketball and bounced it for ten minutes. It was really fun!

We aimed to raise £2 per person, but roughly we think we have raised £100!

We first thought we would give it all to Joel but then we realised how much the people in Nepal need money due to the earthquake. So we decided we should donate half of the money to Joel and the rest to Nepal.

On Wednesday 29th April 2015 we did the ‘Bounce for Compassion’. Due to bad weather we had to do this inside. We did this to the music ‘Bounce’. We had to do this for 10 minutes straight. What amazing bounces we did: lay ups, spinning, balanced bounces.

Mrs Burr estimates that we will have raised £100. Isn’t that amazing! I hope you enjoy our video.
