Class 1R had a fantastic day at the farm despite the rather damp weather. They saw many animals including sheep, cows, shire horses, Shetland ponies, pigs, geese and goats.
They were lucky enough to watch the pigs being fed (a very noisy experience) and they also saw a cow being milked. They had a lovely lunch inside the warm cafe before walking around the grounds in the afternoon. They walked around the walled garden and were very excited to spot Humpty Dumpty sitting up on the wall. They also walked over to the manor house and enjoyed looking at the manicured gardens there.
There was just enough time to spend their money in the toy shop before heading back to school.
