Captain Tom 100Skipathon

Last year, Captain Tom united the nation as he completed 100 laps of his garden and raised over £30 million for charity. To celebrate his legacy, we teamed up with Future Sense Foundation and took on our very own 100 challenge on Captain Tom’s birthday weekend!

On Friday 30th April, the sun came out to join us and all the children took part in our sponsored skip event.  During the day, each class was allocated a time slot when they were able to complete the challenge and even Mrs Driver joined in on the action!

Thanks to your amazing support we have raised a jaw dropping £3300 with money still coming in! If you have any sponsorship money still at home, please do remember to send it into school in a labelled envelop by Monday 17th May.

We will now send all the money raised to Future Sense Foundation where it can be used to try to ensure that every child in the world has access to quality education.  Thank you so much for your help and we hope you have enjoyed looking through a selection of the images from the day!
