This week we went into our game against Offley with a point to prove, after coming so close last week. The boys started well, taking early control of the game but Offley looked solid in defence and were always a threat going forward.
After some good play the ball broke for Finley at the back post to poke the ball home and get his first of 2 goals. After this initial breakthrough it didn't take long for the goals to start flowing. Harry came on and scored a great goal with his second touch of the ball and Calum managed a a superb hattrick.
After battling hard throughout the match and having plenty of opportunities Noah finally took his chance to get on the end of a great ball from Calum and smashed it home. This was repeated alsmost immediately and gave Noah a second goal. Offley were able to pull one back, which left a final score of 8-1 to WR.
This was a great performance and after 3 goals and 2 assists Calum took home the man of the match trophy.
