It is time for the next collection of Bag2School. The bags will be collected on:- Tuesday 18th June 2013 at 9am.
For the new parents who are unfamiliar with Bag2School –
Bag2School is a company that specialises in good quality second hand clothing. They collect from our School twice a year. The bags of clothes are taken away and weighed, the more clothing we send the more money we get back for our School .We get 50p back for every kilogram of clothes we send – that is £500 per tonne. For our last collection in November, the bags weighed 322kgs and we made £161.00 for the school.
Bag2School will collect the following for reuse:-
Adults and Childrens Clothing, Bedding, Curtains, Soft Toys, Shoes, Belts & Handbags.
All clothes must be clean and in good condition, no holes or stains.
No Bric-a-Brac please.
The Bag2School bag, for you to fill up will be sent home in your child’s school bag this week.
If you require more bags they can be obtained from the Reception Area or the School Office. You may use a bin liner or any type of plastic carrier bag.
You may drop off your bags on the above day from 7:30am onwards, ready for the collection lorry which arrives at 9am. Please can you place your bags at the side of the school near the car park next to the store room.
