Another very busy week in Class 3.

In science we started the week by investigating what materials could be magnetic and how strong some types of magnets are.

We have also been investigating how to make a stable structure. The challenge was to create a structure stable enough to hold up a CD without it falling over. There was varying degrees of success, but a special mention must go to Thomas Winters who created an extremely stable structure by himself, and Jorja Uys, Eliza Ford, Ethan Hawkin and Prerika Bhatia who created not one but two unique and stable structures together. Every one tried very hard and managed to create a structure in the allotted time. Well done everyone.

We were also lucky to have some expert tuition in basketball on Friday. We learnt some of the rules around dribbling, passing and marking, and practised some of these skills in short matches.
