A Busy Half Term in Holly

Here are a few of the many activities the children do during morning work, when they first arrive at school each day. This provides them with an opportunity to practise skills as they settle into their day. This includes: fine motor skills, maths facts, cutting skills, problem solving and letter formation to name a few.

Today, as part of our Geography topic we went for a walk in the local area to look at houses, buildings and their uses. The children spotted all kinds of buildings on their walk.

In English, we have been learning about non-fiction books and the children even wrote their own book all about owls. We also made some bird feeders to attract birds into our gardens.
