The reception team would like to wish all our families marking Diwali a fantastic 5 days of worship and celebration! The children have learnt so much this week about why it is celebrated. We have looked at the story behind the celebration and learnt about how and why it is celebrated. The children have had the opportunity to colour in Rangoli patterns and make Diwali cards. They finished their learning by drawing pictures of the things they remembered.
We were also lucky to have parents from both classes come in and talk to the children about how they celebrate. Such opportunities for the children to meet and listen to guest speakers is invaluable so many, many thanks to them for coming in.
