This week the children had their first phonics sessions. We follow a scheme called Bug Club and find it to be very effective in teaching Systematic Synthetic Phonics. You will find out much more about it at our information evening in October. We have looked at the letter ‘s’. The children use magnetic letters to study the form of the letter and everyone had a go at writing some.
