School Fete
WOW!! What an amazing day we had on Saturday at the School Fete! The weather was kind to us and the crowds came out. It looks like we have made over £6000 which is absolutely amazing!!

Thank you to everyone who helped out on the day and contributed to making the fete the success it was. I would like to say a special thank you to the SPA committee under the chairmanship of Chris Stokes. They worked tirelessly to ensure the day was a great success and we are all extremely grateful.

Thank you also to those of you who came along with family and friends and took part in all the various activities! It was a great day all round!

Snacks
Could I remind you that the only snacks allowed at breaktimes are fruit? Children must not bring fruit bars as many of these contain traces of nuts. Please help us keep all our children safe by ensuring only fruit comes into school.

INSET day
Just a reminder that the school is closed tomorrow – Friday 16th June for an INSET day. We open again on Monday 19th June when the whole school will be walking to Walsworth Baptist Church to see the Flourish Art Exhibition which we have all contributed to. The exhibition is open this weekend for the general to view. You might be lucky enough to spot your child’s work!

Hay fever
Now that we are well and truly into hay fever season, if your child suffers from hay fever of asthma and they have an inhaler in school please ensure it is ‘in date’ and that we have all the necessary information.

Please remember if you have any concerns about your child at school, do not hesitate to come in to see me.

Yours sincerely
Mary Driver
