Outstanding facilities for an Outstanding school...

Wow, what a fantastic day for all in school today and what superb facilities have taken shape.  Willmott Dixon (WD) have worked wonders, especially over the summer holiday, and have delivered all they promised for the start of the new academic year.

We knew and had agreed that certain parts of the project would not be completed at this point, but none which would prevent the start of term.  i.e. the whole of the hall floor is being replaced rather than just a new floor for the extended part.  Our school finances would never have been able to afford replacing the whole floor, so having to wait an extra week will be well worth it.

And of course Mrs Driver was able to put in place her preconceived plan – assembly on the new MUGA!  What a great idea.

Over the next few weeks WD will work with us to not only finish off the remaining areas but also in ironing out any snagging items, something you always get with any building project.

I would like to express my sincere thanks to all the staff who have risen to the challenges of the last week in particular, to ensure they were ready for today.  A fantastic team effort.

I know parents will be itching to have a look around and Mrs Driver will shortly be announcing a date for an informal open late afternoon/evening event.
